Ours being a continental climate , the temperatures can be quite extreme; for example we reached -22°c in 2001, and 42°c in 2003.
All our plants are produced and nurtured in function of this first condition, but other features play their part.

Our main characteristic, our particular trait, is that we cultivate and produce plants that are often rare. Although they may often be unfamiliar because they are absent from the usual catalogues, they are still beautiful and desirable.

We produce speciality trees and shrubs from all round the world, or nearly. All are magnificent, and hardy.
We also produce bamboos, extraordinary plants that are venerated as much here as in Asia.
Finally we produce hellebores, the family of the Christmas Rose, the latest arrival in our nursery; these delicate flowers sit like butterflies on the plant.
